Liberty Construction was proud to deliver The McLean Orthodontist, a 1,800 SF orthodontic practice for Dr. Robert Marzban at 6715 Whittier Avenue in McLean, Virginia, completed in 2025. Dr. Marzban, a Top Orthodontist recognized by The Washingtonian and NoVa Magazine, has practiced in the McLean community for over 30 years and is a longtime sponsor of the McLean Little League. For this new home just minutes from his previous office, Liberty handled construction in close coordination with A & I Design on architecture and Zehra Arif at Z-Dimensional on interior design.
New York Grit Meets McLean Heart
The design brief was uncommon for a Northern Virginia orthodontic buildout: blend the vibrant aesthetic of New York City, where Dr. Marzban's wife is a practicing dentist, with the warmth of a longtime McLean hometown practice. Our crew framed and finished the space to support that fusion: urban-inspired graffiti murals on the open bay walls, exposed wood textures and graphic feature surfaces, paired with natural light, soft public-area seating, and wood-look flooring that brings the calm of McLean into the patient experience. Every detail was reviewed in walkthroughs with Dr. Marzban during the final move-in punch list, from baseboard durability for high-traffic operatory zones to window film for patient comfort along the daylight side.
Built Around Community & Comfort
The 1,800 SF buildout organizes around an open bay treatment area with multiple orthodontic chairs, a dedicated X-ray imaging room, a welcoming front office and reception with a custom front desk built by Burger's Cabinets, and a clean back-of-house for sterilization and storage. Modern recessed and pendant lighting was specified for clinical-grade visibility in the treatment bays without sacrificing the warmth of the public areas. Benco Dental supplied the orthodontic chairs and operatory equipment, including the imaging suite, and DTC ran low-voltage and IT cabling for the digital workflow that ties intake, treatment, and check-out together. Ergonomic seating, thoughtful sightlines, and an open layout that promotes natural connection between staff and patients close out the patient-experience scope.

This Fairfax County orthodontic office construction is more than a new address; it's a 30-year legacy reimagined for the next generation of patients. From the McLean Little League sponsorship in the community to the graffiti walls inside the practice, Dr. Marzban's commitment to the neighborhood is built into every finish.
